Residents at the Haven Night Shelter in Green Point have recently graduated from a one-month security training course, marking a fresh start in their lives.
New Beginnings:
Kirby Mcboneswa, a resident at the shelter, shared her joy and gratitude after completing the training program. Partnering with the Arch Angels Initiative Project, the Haven Night Shelter provided training for 20 homeless individuals, empowering them to secure jobs in the security industry.
Empowering the Vulnerable:
Mcboneswa expressed her excitement at the opportunity, stating that her 13-year-old son's pride in her accomplishments was a significant moment. Reflecting on her journey, Mcboneswa highlighted the impact of the training on her confidence and employability.
