A woman shared an eerie claim on TikTok that she found a man secretively living in her bedroom for nearly four months.

The user, referred to as K, documented the spine-chilling experience in two parts, telling her followers how she discovered an intruder lurking beneath her bed.

Starting her series with some background story, K disclosed that at 26 she became a homeowner and lived with her two children. With her work schedule taking up 80-90 hours every week, she admitted to spending occasional nights at her parents' home where they helped look after her kids.

There's lots of quality news coming out of the US.

Due to this arrangement, K and her children often spent around 11 to 12 hours out of their house, sometimes even longer. Following an overnight stay at her parents' she returned home at around 9am only to discover a stranger hiding under her bed.

"I hear a noise and I was like, 'That must be a mouse'," she remembered. When she heard the noise again, she decided to investigate, reports the Mirror US. "I lean over the side of my bed. I see blue jeans and black socks sticking out from underneath my bed," she added.

Utterly petrified, she bolted from her house, hopped into her car and rang the cops. While on the blower with the fuzz, she claims to have spotted the bloke she'd hired for garden work striding out her front door.

"I see the guy that I hired to mow my lawn come walking out the front door," she recounted, noting he just donned his trainers and toddled off down the road.

Once the Old Bill turned up and had a nose around with K, she clocked a few tell-tale signs like dirty dishes and nicked items. These clues led her to believe the chap had been kipping there for a while.

"He admitted to have been living in my house for four months. He was breaking in when I was gone, and he was using my shower, playing my kid's PlayStation, eating my food," she spilled the beans.

In her viral clip, K mentioned cops confirmed the man was homeless. But what's more, she revealed the police dug up undies belonging to K and several other women when they rummaged through his lawnmower.

Her clip went viral, racking up 1.2 million views, and curious netizens were clamouring for the deets. Spilling the tea in a juicy update, K disclosed the bloke was an old mate of her brother's from their school days. She hadn't clapped eyes on him since the drama until a chance encounter at a pub.

"That's not squatting, that's phrogging," one switched-on viewer pointed out, schooling everyone that the fella wasn't just crashing in an empty gaff but was cheekily shacked up in someone's pad on the sly while they were living there too.

"This is why I have security cameras inside pointing at the entry points of my house and main living areas," piped up another viewer, all about that home security life. While some felt bad for the mystery man in K's house, thinking he might have been down on his luck, a bunch of comments on K's sequel vid suggested that if the geezer had nicked knickers as she claimed, it could've turned dodgy.

"I'm sorry but no. He wasn't just homeless staying there. He had your underwear and other people's," a user chimed in. "That seems a little suspect for a motive beyond being homeless," another chimed in, side-eyeing the swiped clobber.
