Exclusive: Faleke Named Lagos State Coordinator of Justice Forum

Politics in Lagos State is set for interesting time as the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke is now the new state Coordinator of the Justice Forum, reports thegazellenews.com 

Justice Forum is oldest and largest progressive political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Lagos State. It was the group that provided the platform and political structure for Bola Ahmed Tinubu now President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win the governorship primaries of the then Alliance for Democracy (AD) in 1998 which paved way for the election of Tinubu as the Governor of the state on Saturday, 9 January, 1999 and his subsequent swearing-in as the Governor of the state on 29 May, 1999.

This medium learnt that Faleke was named the new state Coordinator of the Forum at its last meeting.

“Faleke deserves the honour. He has the political experience and the grassroots reach needed to reinvigorate the Forum,” a member of Justice Forum told thegazellenews.com.

Faleke is the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance. He was the Secretary of the now defunct All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC). He was two time Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area and was the pioneer Chairman of Confidence 57, umbrella organization for council Chairmen in Lagos State.
