Osolo will be greatly missed, says Awori group

A group, Awori Welfare Association of Nigeria (AWAN), has lamented the demise of the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom in Lagos State, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka.

The group, led by its leader, Chief Mohammed Olagbaye, paid a condolence visit to the royal family yesterday to commiserate with the family.

In the entourage were Senator Idiat Adebule, Otunba Ojora-Adejiyan,  Prof. Jelili Atiku, Princess Sarah Sosan, Princess Orelope-Adefulire, Alhaji Kazeem Alabi Labaika, Chief Ojolowo, Mrs. Sade Fijagbde, Mrs. Bola Alese-Apena, Prince Niyi Jafojo, Oye Ojo, Muritala Gbadamosi and Mrs. Bola Alese-Apena.

Olagbaju paid tribute to the deceased monarch, describing him as a courageous, steadfast, passionate leader, who was committed to the Awori cause.

He noted that Oba Agbabiaka served the state loyally as the secretary of the Council of Traditional Rulers, lamenting that he departed when his services were needed most.
