Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role of Wade Wilson aka Deadpool from its previous instalment. Hugh Jackman, who played the role of Wolverine in the previous 'X-Men' movies, will also reprise his role. It has been reported that Wolverine will be seen in an alternative universe.
Emma Corrin has officially joined Marvel as Cassandra Nova and will be seen as the main antagonist. Matthew Macfadyen will essay the role of Paradox, who is seen as a Time Variance Authority (TVA) agent. Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, Shioli Kutsuna, Randal Reeder and Lewis Tan will reprise their roles from the previous 'Deadpool' movies.
While speaking to Fandango, director Shawn Levy talked about the tone of the movie and said, "We were clear from the get-go. We said, 'Well, the three of us [Levy, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman] are going to do this and we've got to be truthful to the tone of a Deadpool movie.' That means we're not softening the edges. We're going to be audacious and funny and edgy, the way I know I, as a fan, want from Logan and from Wade Wilson."
"I have to say, every time Ryan, Hugh, and I went in expecting pushback, we got support from Kevin, from everyone at Disney. They have trusted us and allowed us to do the version of Deadpool & Wolverine that we feel is best," he added.
It has also been rumoured that Chris Hemsworth will be seen in a cameo role and will reprise his role of Thor.
