The President-General of Umunze Progressive Union, Sir Ezekiel Iheazor has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for appointing their illustrious son, Prince Shedrack Azubuike as the Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area.

Congratulating Prince Azubuike on the appointment which he said is well deserved, on behalf of the people of Umunze community, Sir Ezekiel noted that the new Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South, Prince Azubuike is eminently qualified for the Post in view of his experience in capacity building and public administration.

The Umunze Town Union President-General who described Prince Azubuike as a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, maintained that he has the capacity to mobilize massive support for APGA in Orumba South and also to ensure that the party keeps obtaining victory in the council area.

He enjoined the Orumba South Stakeholders, Ndi Umunze as well as the entire people of the area to give Prince Azubuike the necessary support to enable him record meaningful achievements in Orumba South.

Sir Ezekiel appealed to Umunze citizens in the diaspora to look inwards and contribute to the peace and progress of the town and generate solidarity and support for Prince Azubuike’s administration.

The Umunze Town Union President-General stated in strong terms that the people of Umunze will surely reciprocate Governor Soludo’s gesture of appointing their son, Prince Azubuike as the Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South as well as his development projects in the council area by giving him more support.
