He noted how the security forces invaded Sunday Ighoho’s home and how he fled to Benin Republic to evade arrest. He stated that some ammunitions were confiscated in Ighoho’s house at that period but he has now returned to the country, walking freely as a citizen of the Country.
He said in an interview with The Sun, ”Sunday Ighoho in the South West said he wanted Oduduwa Nation. Some professors joined him. I know some of them who used to attend meetings with me here. They joined him until he had that problem in the house with the security men, where people were killed. Guns were seized in Sunday Ighoho’s house and he ran to Benin Republic.
