Elon Musk Warns about WhatsApp

Elon Musk, the American billionaire and entrepreneur, warned users previously about the recent risks associated with using the WhatsApp application which is being managed by Meta platforms. The application has many glitches in terms of safeguarding user data, as he explained.

Musk claimed WhatsApp to be: “not a safe application at all” as its end encryption settings can delete all messages completely.

Some users are defending WhatsApp as they believe Meta Facebook Messenger is the application that people should be warned about. Facebook Messenger continuously shows ads related to topics discussed in private messages, thus it does not provide the required privacy!

A previous report for The Wall Street Journal revealed that Apple had to take down the WhatsApp and Threads applications from its app store in China last April, following a direct request from the government based on national security concerns.
