Scattered rainfall for our Sunday
Rain is back in the forecast.

It has been nothing short of an absolutely gorgeous day throughout Southern Wisconsin! After reaching high temperatures this afternoon in the upper 70s and low 80s throughout the southern half of the state, temperatures are expected to gradually dwindle from 76° around dinnertime to 69° by 10 o’clock before bottoming out near 63° early Sunday morning. Be sure to make the most of what’s left of your Saturday as we are already tracking our next chances of showers and thunderstorms for the end of the weekend.

We are tracking yet another round of low pressure that is expected to bring about not only more cloud cover overnight, but chances of rainfall as early as the predawn hours tomorrow. We will wake up to scattered showers and maybe even a few thunderstorms throughout Southern Wisconsin on Sunday morning before seeing a brief period of dry weather during the late morning and early afternoon. The latest data shows a resurgence of shower and thunderstorm activity just before dinnertime. While it is possible that some of these storms may produce heavy downpours, blustery winds and maybe even some small hail, we are not anticipating any threat for potentially strong to severe storms at this time.

After a high temperature of 79° on Sunday with our chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms afternoon, high temperatures are expected to reach towards the upper 70s and low 80s for both our Monday and Tuesday of next week as isolated chances of rainfall linger throughout southern Wisconsin.
