CAL FIRE says a fisherman seen on the rocks at Yankee Point in Carmel never returned to his parked car.

Rescue crews from around the area are looking for an overdue fisherman at Yankee Point near Carmel Highlands. CAL FIRE BEU, Monterey County Sheriff's Office, and the Coast Guard have been putting manpower resources to the search since about 2 p.m. Friday. Besides having boats in the water they've also requested a helicopter and drones for the search. MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. —

Rescue crews from around the area are looking for an overdue fisherman at Yankee Point near Carmel Highlands.

CAL FIRE BEU, Monterey County Sheriff's Office, and the Coast Guard have been putting manpower resources to the search since about 2 p.m. Friday.
