Mr Ibu as he is famously known and addressed was yesterday, Friday, June 28, 2024 buried in his hometown of Eziokwe Amurri in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State as there was the Enugu State Governor Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah ably represented by the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Dame Ugochi Madueke,Ebony Sate Governor ably represented by the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism….., Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party Nigeria 2023 Mr Peter Obi, Senator Kelvin Chukwu honour the late Nollywood Legend.

Stars from both the Nollywood and music industries trooped out in their numbers to pay respect to their departed colleague who passed on Saturday, March 2, 2024 after a protracted illness.
