Ubi Franklin shares his two cents on Davido, Sophia’s custody battle
Ubi Franklin, a close associate of Afrobeat star Davido, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing custody battle between the singer and Sophia Momodu over their daughter, Imade.
The dispute escalated when Sophia Momodu filed a counter affidavit following Davido’s initial request for joint custody a few weeks ago. In the affidavit, Sophia’s lawyer included allegations of negligence concerning Davido’s late son, prompting Davido to respond on social media platform X.
Ubi Franklin, who is also a father, expressed empathy for the difficulties of parenting. He stated that he understands the challenges faced by both parties and called for support rather than judgment.
“Never judge a pain you have never been through. This fatherhood struggle is not easy, we pray for God’s blessings and strength,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
