Monroe County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest after lengthy investigation, search warrant
FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Investigators made an arrest on Friday following a lengthy investigation and the execution of a search warrant.
The warrant, executed at Union Hill Apartments at 235 Union Hill Drive, led to the arrest of 61-year-old Ellis Zellner.
Zellner faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of Hydrocodone, according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Zellner was also charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs in a public housing authority, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of drug-related objects.
Zellner is being held at the Monroe County Jail without bond.
