Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, expressed optimism that the Nigerian economy could see a turnaround within a few months. His remarks came following the inauguration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Economic Coordination Council (PECC) on Thursday.

Speaking after the inauguration, Dangote emphasized the collaboration between the public and private sectors under the PECC. He highlighted the Council’s role in advising the government on necessary policies to rejuvenate the economy.

“We can turn our economy around in just a few months. Change is imminent, and we are committed to ensuring positive transformation,” Dangote stated.

President Tinubu recently announced plans to inject N2 trillion into the economy over the next six months as part of an accelerated stabilization and advancement plan.
