Budding actress, Omotola Odunsi better known as Omotola The Actor has lamented the difficulties faced in finding true love.

Omotola made this known in a chat with Saturday Sun.

“As a female actor, it is hard to find true love because the general belief is that we are what we act in movies. People believe that the characters we display in movies are part of our realities. But that is a misconception because that is not what it is,” she said.

The role interpreter also added that her man has to be older than her.

“My man has to be older than me and not just older, he has to be mature as well. I want somebody that I can look up to. Someone that I can actually call my own and respect. In a relationship or in marriage, respect is a big deal for me”.

Speaking on some of the challenges of being a popular face, Odunsi said she gets embarrassing messages from underage boys on social media.

“I get many embarrassing messages but the most embarrassing message I have ever gotten was seeing some underage guys asking me out and calling me romantic names. Looking at them, one will know they are underage. I ignore them most of the time, I don’t reply to them,” she said.

On the role she looks forward to acting, the Odunlade Adekola protégé said: “I look forward to playing the role of a lover girl, a girl that is truly in love. I also look forward to playing the role of a tout, although I have

done that before. But I look forward to more of that. I look forward to playing the role of an aggressive housewife”.
