The accused, aged 41, was placed in police custody in the premises of the Alès police station.

This Tuesday, July 2, police officers from the Alès police station arrested, shortly after 9 a.m., a 41-year-old man, suspected of having robbed a tobacco shop in the capital of the Cévennes.

The theft took place in March 2023 and the stock of tobacco from this business was then stolen.

This individual, whom the police had identified, was taken into police custody.
