West Ham to splash €70m record fee on Boniface

Premier League club, West Ham is prepared to sign Victor Boniface for a club record €70 million, according to The Sun.

West Ham incoming transfer record is €50 million, which it splashed to sign another striker Sebastian Haller.

Victor Boniface has attracted interest from across Europe after his big role in Bayer Leverkusen historic season during which they have won a first-ever Bundesliga crown and remain unbeaten in 46 games.

The club is also in contention for the German Cup and the UEFA Europa League.

Boniface has also been linked with top Italian clubs Juventus and Napoli, among many other European clubs.

The Super Eagles striker cost Leverkusen €20 million when he signed last summer from Belgian club Union St.Gilloise.

His Transfermarkt value is now €50 million.
