Igbo Community Greets President Tinubu As He’s Set To Mark One Year In Office

Igbo Community in Lagos State under the leadership of Eze (Dr) Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu JP, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his efforts to reposition Nigeria as he is set to mark one year in office. 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze Nwachukwu stated this at his palace at the Igbo Community centre in Lagos State on the state of nation.

Eze Nwachukwu, who is also the Ezendigbo of Lagos State and Otun Ogbobaniyi of Isolo, stated that President Tinubu is determined to change the narrative in the area of economy, security and the welfare of the people and things were gradually improving and he needs every support for him to succeed.

He noted that at the beginning when the subsidy was removed and foreign exchange liberalized, it appeared that the economy had gone worse but with the consistency policies of the present administration in tackling the problem, the Nigeria economy is bouncing back to the suprise of the International community.

Eze Nwachukwu, who holds the Chieftaincy title of Ochiagha of Obodoukwu town in Imo State, stated that Ndigbo in Lagos State are in full support of Tinubu’s administration and will continue to support him as he works day and night to bring things to normal.

“As partners in the economic drive, the Igbos in Lagos cannot be more proud of your leadership capacity so far. Your landmark achievements and developmental strides put you ahead of other leaders.”

“We commend you for your excellent leadership, and the many sustained initiatives to overcome the many problems of the country. While wishing you more remarkable success, it is important we reiterate our support for your administration.”

“Ndigbo are solidly behind every stream of reforms and policies that will return our country back to her global reckoning. We will be offering our timely supports, prayers and engaging our people to be law abiding, respecting democratic tenets and principles that keep us together as you mark your one year in office.”

Eze Nwachukwu also expressed the support of Ndigbo for the Lagos State Government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and urged the government to continue to maintain the good relationships that have been existing between the Government and other ethnic groups in Lagos State especially Ndigbo.

He urged that the Lagos State Government to consider the quarterly meeting they were having between the Government and other ethnic groups in the State as it was a means of passing information to the Government as well Government getting feedback from the people across the Local Councils.

He advised Ndigbo to continue to be law abiding and support the present administration both at the Lagos State and Federal level so that Ndigbo will not be seen as being opposition to the present administration.
