Will Rash leave Man United?

Former Chelsea defender Pat Nevin has urged the club to avoid signing Marcus Rashford as the Blues cannot make many more mistakes in the transfer market.

Rashford has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season and looks nothing like the player that netted 30 goals for Man United  just a few seasons ago.

He has really struggled this season under boss Erik Ten Hag and has only managed to score 8 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils, which is not good enough for a player of his ability.

However – there is again talk that Man United would be open to the idea of letting their academy star leave the club and there has been some stunning speculation that the likes of CHELSEA could make a move for the player.

However – amid all the speculation and rumours – Nevin has opened up and claimed that Chelsea should avoid signing Marcus Rashford this summer window – as they cannot make any more mistakes in the transfer market – He told Genting Casinos: “There is a fear when I think about Marcus Rashford going to Chelsea, he is a good player but he had a number of difficulties last season and he hasn’t looked quite himself.

“You’re also going to have to pay a huge amount of money for Rashford and CHELSEA can’t afford to make more mistakes financially, that’s no secret.

“You need to make sure you do this right. I have no idea what sort of Chelsea team we could see by the start of next season, could Mudryk be gone too?

‘There’s a million different things. The upside for every Chelsea fan is that there are good players there.”
