August will mark Paul Heyman’s return

essentiallysports.com 3 days ago

The brutal beatdown allowed WWE to steer clear of the pressure of including Paul Heyman in the storyline moving forward right away. So, July will probably go by with little of his involvement. However, mid-August will witness the return that fans are eagerly waiting for. The official page of Fanatics Events has already confirmed this appearance. WWE will be partnering up with Fanatics to hold a three-day fest in NYC from the 16th to the 18th of August. On the 17th, fans will have the opportunity to meet Paul Heyman in person and to take his autograph if they wish to.

This post was uploaded a month ago and the fest partner did not know what turn the storyline may take. So, WWE may make Paul Heyman skip the event entirely, or meet fans in the middle by dressing him up in bandages and casts to better fit the events. Or it could also be just a small cast, showing recovery from the various injuries.

There are many more superstars from the roster who are slated to appear during the fest. However, could it also mark the return of Roman Reigns to the promotion?

Will Roman Reigns show up at the WWE Fanatic Events Fest?

Among the various names that the promotion’s partner revealed on social media, Roman Reigns’ name wasn’t present anywhere. Back then, there was still hope for The Tribal Chief’s return to the Stamford-based company. However, things changed ever since Solo Sikoa revealed a couple of SmackDowns ago that Reigns is not coming back at all. Fans are still hopeful that he will eventually show up because it was probably a kayfabe retirement, otherwise, there would have been an official announcement, considering how his top-tier stature in the WWE.

Despite what the leading wrestling promotion had Sikoa say to Heyman to deprive him of his hope, Denise Salcedo still speculated about Roman Reigns’ possibility of coming back. She talked about the idea that WWE may use to bring him back. Now that his most loyal follower was attacked brutally on live TV, Reigns could come out of his kayfabe retirement and return to take back The Bloodline. However, Salcedo believes that his WWE return would only take place alongside his Wiseman.

Do you think Paul Heyman will be at the NYC Fest? Will he be playing off the kayfabe injury or be completely healed by then?
