Nollywood diva, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi recently expressed her gratitude on social media to veteran colleagues who paved the way for her in the industry. She thanked them for their support, guidance, and for opening doors for her, especially during her early days in the Yoruba movie scene.

Taking to Instagram, she reflected on her journey, acknowledging those who made her path smoother. She mentioned figures like Aunty Bukky, Bro Bayo, her colleagues, and friends from the early days, along with the pivotal role played by Aunty Iyabo (Iyabo Ojo) in her career. She also extended her appreciation to the marketers, producers, crew members, and directors who invested their resources and efforts, making the industry what it is today.

Toyin made it clear that while she couldn’t mention everyone individually, anyone who has contributed positively to her journey has her heartfelt gratitude. She ended with a Yoruba expression of thanks to all who have shown kindness along her path.

This gesture comes after Toyin recently shared similar heartfelt messages to fellow movie producers Funke Akindele and Mercy Aigbe, recognising their contributions to the industry’s progress.
