A bar has been ranked among the top 10% of "things to do worldwide" by Tripadvisor.

Each year, Tripadvisor recognises the best businesses as rated by travellers around the world in reviews and ratings collected over 12 months. FunnyBoyz, a dive bar on Blundell Street, has been awarded this year's Traveller's Choice Award thanks to hundreds of glowing five star reviews.

FunnyBoyz prides itself on being a “new concept in drag cabaret bringing you the most hilarious drag shows, comedy, silly games, cheesy tunes and the best value drinks”.

The Baltic Triangle venue regularly hosts RuPaul’s Drag Race stars and is known for its Benidorm-styled bingo events, cheeky repertoire with customers, and tribute act nights.

Discussing their experience online, Tripadvisor user Mainsy1 said: "I can honestly hand on heart say I was absolutely blown away with the event. I was a bit sceptical but now I cannot praise enough.

"The atmosphere was electric and the show was amazing. For anyone thinking of going to a FunnyBoyz event please, please do it, you won’t regret it."

Another added: "I went to FunnyBoyz as part of a queer hen do and I didn't honestly think it would be something I'd enjoy. Hands down though this was absolutely brilliant and had such a good time we've decided to go back! This was an absolutely great night out and I cannot recommend it enough!"
