Speaking on WWE’s WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain documentary released today on YouTube, the CEO revealed, ”My gut was that if Cody fails here, it damages him. We got to have him win the Rumble. We got to see what the reaction is and then go from there.” On the other side of the coin, The Rock himself also came to a startling similar realization. The Brahma Bull poured cold water on the notion of forcefully inserting himself into the main event of WrestleMania.

In the recently released WrestleMania documentary, The Brahma Bull admitted that he gave up on that rematch idea against Roman Reigns. The Hollywood star admitted that he didn’t want to upset the fans who were madly invested in Rhodes’ emotional saga. Johnson wanted to see the American Nightmare finish his story, and he did.
