The Bikeriders was originally given a release date of December 2023, and although its debut was later pushed back, the film has now aired and is doing well with scores of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.2/10 on IMDb. The narrative follows a gang of bikers, the Vandals MC. They first formed to include local outsiders, but over a period of time, they began to fall into a much darker way of being.

Among the gritty setting of the Midwestern 60s, and the vintage costumes is a stellar cast of performers that are driving the film to success. A lot of these faces will be familiar to many people, with the likes of Austin Butler and Jodie Comer taking on the leading roles. But even the actors that are newer to film have become integral to the movie, in conveying the depth and drama to its plot line.

Austin Butler first earned a reputation as an accomplished actor as a child, starring in Disney and Nickleodeon shows such as Drake and Josh and iCarly. As an adult, his career continued with various projects, but it was Elvis that shot him to the top of his game. Playing the titular character, Butler sang, danced and gave audiences a wonderful portrayal of the King of Rock and Roll.

His role in the biopic has been praised time and again, demonstrating the commitment required to deliver a convincing performance of a star that was widely known around the world. Unsurprisingly, his career has gone from strength to strength. Butler took a leading role in the Apple+ series, Masters of the Air, once again depicting someone that really existed. This time his character was set in the Air Force of World War 2. The Bikeriders has given the actor another deep character to get into. Playing Benny, Butler has been able to show that there's no genre or personality that he can't perform to a high standard.

The lead female role in The Bikeriders, Kathy, is played by Jodie Comer; another British icon who has repeatedly been the highlight of a show or movie. Comer started acting at a young age, with her breakthrough role coming in the shape of Chloe in My Mad Fat Diary. Her aptitude for television shows continued with Doctor Foster, in which she played Kate who was a young woman caught up in an affair.

The Golden Globe nominated-drama, Killing Eve, became a stellar showcase for Comer to show how gifted she is with accents, seamlessly transitioning from one to another, during her performance as the dark villain, Villanelle.

Comer hasn't been restricted to just television work. The collection of films she's acted in range from Help, to Free Guy, most recently leading in The End We Start From.

British actor Tom Hardy plays the leader of the Chicago Vandals, Johnny. Hardy is an acclaimed actor with a plethora of projects to his name, putting him in line with the best performers to date. He is mostly known for intimidating roles that put audiences on the edge of their seats.

On television, he landed a role in one of the best British crime dramas, Peaky Blinders. Portraying Alfie Solomon, Hardy was dark and disturbing, making himself known to viewers among an already great cast. He's delved into the Marvel world by playing the lead role in Venom, as well as going back in time to World War 2 in Band of Brothers. Michael Shannon was cast as Zipco in The Bikeriders, treating fans of The Flash, Bullet Train and The Shape of Water to another installment in his already accomplished catalog of work. His film debut came in Groundhog Day, when he played a groom at a wedding.

Norman Reedus is the familiar face playing Funny Sonny. Although he has become widely known for being Daryl Dixon in the aforementioned show, Reedus has had plenty of other major parts in various projects.

Reedus appeared as Murphy Macmanus in both The Boondock Saints and its sequel, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, putting him firmly on the map for film. Not only has Reedus acted on screen, but he's also been a voice actor for a few shows. In an episode of American Dad! he voiced Tim, and in Turbo Fast, he voiced Wild Pete.

The Bikeriders aside, Mike Faist can still be seen in a few theaters with his character in the tennis-focused movie Challengers. Working with Zendaya and Josh O'Connor, he acted as a tennis player, Art Donaldson. For The Bikeriders, Faist is Danny Lyon, the photographer of the book on which the film is based.

Before Challengers, Faist had already achieved on-screen success with West Side Story as Riff and Wilding as Lawrence, but his career had also been heavily grounded in theater, stretching from Broadway to the West End in London. Portraying Brucie is actor Damon Herriman, who has starred in the well-received series, The Tourist. In it, Herriman was the Detective Inspector, Lachlan Rogers.
