Assassinated businessman Jacob Juma alias @kabetes is the unlikely ‘financier’ of the #RejectFinanceBill2024 and #RutoMustGo protests that started two weeks ago.

The protests which don’t have a leader is currently threatening to dislodge President William from power as anger and hunger fuel emotions and quick civic education for most to join to take the country back.

Through a series of posts made on the X account of the slain businessman between 2015 and 2016, many have found inspiration.

‘It is like he is currently tweeting and backdating’, one X user observed.

Juma’s attacks were directed at Ruto and former president Uhuru Kenyatta in the formative years of their presidency.

Ironically, before his assassination in 2016, Juma had accused William Ruto of planning to kill him.

Well, a few weeks later, Juma’s bullet-riddled vehicle was discovered. He had been killed.

The investigations didn’t progress as usual, in Kenya. Many Kenyans believe that he was indeed taken out by the powers that be.

Some politicians, like Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, now working with Ruto had called him (Ruto) out on the same.
