The lady revealed how she would have be kidnapped in one of those outings when she was in school.

The narrator, an internet user revealed how she met a pregnant woman when she was pregnant too, who gisted her on how she would have been a victim of kidnappers when she was on her way to do runs when she was still in school.

“I know a lady who married as a virgin in her late 20’s. I knew this because she and I were attending the same church at the time, and she had married a pastor, who constantly used their marriage story to preach.

4 years after, they were still trying to conceive. I changed church and lost contact with them until late last year, when I saw them at a wedding. The women I was sitting with started to talk about how everyone was still praying for them to conceive. They had been married 10 years at the time.

When I was pregnant and attending antenatal, I became friends with another pregnant woman who liked to talk. She’s probably one of the most “open” people I’ve ever met. She was married and was pregnant for her 5th child at the time.

One time, a new gynecologist walked in to where we were gathered. He was a kind-looking doctor who seemed to be in his mid 50’s. She turned to me and said “I know him!”

Before I could reply, she continued, “he did 4 abortions for me when I was still in school.”

Then she started to regale me with tales of her escapades when she was still in school. The time she almost got kidnapped on her way to ‘do runs’ (in her own words).

She laughed as she talked.

I laughed too.

Still, there are days when I think about her randomly, and about the pastor’s wife too.

I think about how unscripted life is… how lucky some people are, and how unlucky some are.
