I have a MacBook from 2015 with AMD graphics, and I want to use a tool to convert videos that utilizes GPU acceleration. On Windows, I use HandBrake, but the macOS version of this tool doesn't support GPU encoding on such an old machine, as I understood. I'm sure my MacBook is capable of converting to H.264 using the GPU, but for some reason, this feature isn’t available in HandBrake.

Additionally, while I'm here, I’d like to ask about the Apple VT H.264 Hardware Encoder. Do you have any insights into how it works?
