Lilian Ario’s Petals of life set for unveiling in Lagos

A collection of poems “Petals of Life”, by Broadcast Journalist at Voice of Nigeria (VON) and poet, Lilian Obiageli Ario is set for launch. Scheduled for 6th July, 2024 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Alausa Ikeja by 10am, is expected to attract high profile academia, Secondary School students, Dignitaries, as well as members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm.


According to the author, the anthology will be graced by poetry lovers and literary enthusiasts to experience her profound and evocative work firsthand. ‘Petals of Life’ is a captivating collection that delves into the multifaceted experiences of life, love, sorrow, death, and joy. Ario added.

“My poems are rich in vivid imagery, personification, simile, as the poems are equally woven around human emotions and experiences, making each piece a testament to my literary prowess. These inspiring and thought-provoking collection challenges readers to strive for better behavior while reminding them of their roots and the paths they have traveled.”

At the event, Ario will be discussing selected poems offering a glimpse into the heart and soul behind each verse. The event will have a question-and-answer session where guests can engage the author in order to gain deeper insights into her creative process.
