The scheduled Adamawa Local Government areas elections are gaining momentum with candidates and aspirants campaigning in their respective villages and towns.

But the people of Hong Local Government People Democratic Party, PDP, who have Hon Inuwa Usman Wa’aganda as the party’s flag bearer to be the next Chairman are shopping for his running mate who must be a Woman.

The Female vice chairman was a mandatory instruction Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was asked the party to ensure it possible to carry the women folks along.

In this regard, the Stakeholders of Garaha Ward have unanimously endorsed Asama’u Dahiru to be Inuwa’s vice Chairperson.

The PDP stakeholders in a letter signed by the ward Chairman, Mr Charles Williams, and seventeen other officials endorsed Asama’u as their preferred choice.

According to Williams, her endorsement came because of her commitment, hard work, and confidence she gained as a faithful, loyal, and dedicated party member.

Williams in the letter said in the interest of fair play and natural justice, Garaha Ward has no representative seeing the fact that other wards produced Speaker, senators, commissioner, Lawmaker, and Rep, and the area should be given the chance to produce the next vice Chairperson in Asama’u considering the much contributions they gave the PDP Party.
