Get Ready To Work & Deliver, Task Force Boss Reads Riot Act To Staff; Seeks Public Cooperation For Improved Environment

Twenty four hours after resuming at his new duty post with a rousing official welcome on Monday, July, 1, 2024, Chairman of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce), CSP Akerele Adetayo Oluwasegun, has sent out a clear-cut message of get ready to work and deliver, to the entire staff members of the agency, reports thegazellenews.com.

Akerele stated further that discipline, professionalism and high sense of integrity, are some of the yardsticks that must be held in high esteem as he takes charge of the reigns at Taskforce.

The Task Force Chairman gave the riot act, while, addressing officers and men, para-military and civilian staff members on Tuesday, 2 July, 2024 at the Oshodi Safety Arena, headquarters of the agency.

The Taskforce Chairman also called on the Lagos populace to support and cooperate with the agency in the drive to sanitize and make Lagos environment saner and safer for all, urging Lagosians to make it a sense of responsibility, upholding environmental use regulations as outlined in the state government’s guiding statutes.

Speaking further, CSP Akerele, stated that the agency will readily collaborate with stakeholders and relevant agencies toward achieving set goals as contained in the statutory mandate of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce).

He however assured staff of the agency of a responsive and open door stewardship, adding that, the issue of welfare will be given all sense of seriousness and urgency to raise motivation and drive result achievement.
