Arsenal Reveal Plan For EPL Trophy Parade

Arsenal have announced their plans to hold an open-top bus parade should they be crowned Premier League champions in two weeks’ time.

The 2023–24 Premier League title race between Arsenal and Manchester City is almost over. With two game remaining, Pep Guardiola’s defending champions are presently one point behind the Gunners atop the league table. The Daily Mail reports that the North Londoners have arranged a joyful march for May 20, and it is likely that the champions will only be announced on May 19, the final matchday of the season.

Arsenal leads the Premier League, but they do not yet have all the cards. They still need City to lose at least one of their final three games of the season—against Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham—in order to advance. Road closure notices are just one of the many operational needs that Arsenal has to arrange far in advance, which is why their plans for a trophy procession may seem a bit early. There won’t be enough time in a day to settle everything, especially if the title fight goes to the last day.

As per The Daily Mail report, Arsenal’s trophy parade is scheduled for Monday, May 20. The parade would start at the Emirates at 5pm local time before making the trip via the Islington Town Hall and back to the stadium.

Manchester City will play West Ham and Arsenal will entertain Everton on the last day of the season. The Gunners would celebrate winning the league championship for the first time since the 2003–04 season if all outcomes up to that point go their way and they triumph on the final day.
