Football Club Vows To Shock Sporting World With Superlative Performances

Mustapha Ademola, Head Coach, of JustJohn Football Club Limited, an affliliate of the Ogun State Football Association (OGSFA), has boasted that with the Club’s new innovations and commitment, it is set to shock the football community.

The Head Coach made the boast on Thursday in Otta, Ogun State, stressing that the club has a mission to nurture young talented players from tender age to free age categories with over 60 players in the club at the moment.

He said, “The club was introduced in the year 2022 and co-owned by two brothers from Owo Local Government Area in Ondo State, Oyeleye Olanrewaju Johnson and Oyeleye Abimbola Justus. Our motto is: “Together We Triumph, Victory is Our Tradition.”

He said JustJohn Football Club Limited was coined from both owners’ name, Justus and Johnson, “the owners are big business tycoons in the state and philanthropists. It is worthy of note that these two brothers, Justus and Johnson are professional football players and they had played in different clubs both in Africa and a crossed Europe.

“The club has participated in major championships in the state to mention but a few; we just concluded 2023/2024 State League in which the team came third in the championship as young as the club is, under me, as coach. I am from Ogun State and also a member of Nigerian Coaches Association. Ogun State Chapter. I am also an Auditor 1 of the Nigerian Coaches Association. With the help of God and the cooperation from all, we have been able to achieve a lot of success by making sure the team progresses,” he said.

Coach Ademola happens to be the person that encouraged the takeover of the combination of young and old players who had been training without any assured way forward in their careers.

“Because of the passion to help upcoming footballers around us and affect our generation positively, we decided to start JustJohn FC as one of our visions of helping the talented footballers/Soccer players around the world to get to their Dreamland via JustJohn FC Limited, Coach Ademola said.

The Chairman has been up and doing in delivering as expected, to make a better club. The Chairman has provided vehicles for transporting the team to various tournaments and friendly matches within and outside the state. For example, the club has played with top clubs in the state and country, particularly those that are playing for NPFL, like Shooting Stars of Ibadan, The Gateway team of Ogun State, where they performed excellently.

Presently, the club just concluded their registration to participate in the Nationwide League 2 in the state, organised by the NFF, courtesy of the chairman.
