Football FanCast brings you the latest Arsenal transfer round-up as the summer transfer window gets underway.

The coming months are likely to be key as Mikel Arteta looks to finally build a squad that can become Premier League champions, having finished second to Manchester City for a second successive season.

Here are details of the very latest Arsenal transfer news and gossip.

Latest Arsenal transfer rumours

Transfers in

Napoli star Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen: Arsenal are hunting around the Napoli striker as the Nigerian looks set to depart the Serie A club this summer. Reports in Spain have claimed that the Gunners are among plenty eyeing the forward, including Premier League rivals Chelsea. However, he may not come cheap, with a release clause of around £102m - though there appears to be room for negotiation.

Ferdi Kadioglu: Arsenal are thought to be leading the race for Fenerbahce and Turkey star Ferdi Kadioglu, as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen at left-back. Kadioglu, currently starring at Euro 2024, is reportedly keen for a switch to north London, though it seems his fate will be determined by their newly appointed coach, Jose Mourinho.

Riccardo Calafiori: Another defender on the Gunners' radar who has starred in Germany this summer is Bologna centre-back Riccardo Calafiori. Arsenal don't appear to be favourites for this one, with Juventus providing strong competition, though Bologna may be reluctant to do business with the Turin giants, who have just poached manager Thiago Motta after taking them into the Champions League. As a result, Bologna are primed for interest from abroad, particularly now that Italy's Euros campaign is over.

Marc Guehi: Mikel Arteta has identified Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi as a backup option if they fail to bring in Calafiori from Bologna. In the past week, Football.london has claimed that the Gunners are "considering a move" for the England ace, who has been one of few shining lights for England so far at Euro 2024.

Samu Omorodion: Arsenal are among the growing number of sides interested in teenage Spanish striker Samu Omorodion. Recent reports indicated that the likes of Spurs and Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the youngster, with the Blues even having a bid rejected by Atletico Madrid.

Jonathan David: The Gunners are also in the frame for a potential cut-price deal for Lille star Jonathan David. There is plenty of competition for his signature - particularly in the Premier League - but with the Canadian's deal in its last 12 months, a bargain price of £20m could be enough to bring him to the Emirates.

Manuel Ugarte: Arsenal have been reportedly offered the chance to sign Manuel Ugarte from PSG. The Uruguayan is thought to be a prime target for Bayern Munich, while Manchester United have also been linked in recent weeks. It appears that the Ligue 1 champions are keen to get rid after an underwhelming campaign in Paris since his switch from Sporting CP last year.

Transfers out

Lokonga-Luton-Town

Albert Sambi Lokonga: The Gunners midfielder is all but certain to move on in the coming weeks, with the Belgian, who spent last season on loan at Luton, appearing close to a move to La Liga with Sevilla. Lokonga had previously stated that internal talks had been held with Arsenal over his future, and it looks as though his short time in north London will come to an end this summer.

William Saliba: Real Madrid have made Arsenal's William Saliba an audacious transfer target, according to reports. Paris Saint-Germain are also fans of the Frenchman, though there does not appear to be any appetite for the Gunners to entertain this interest.

Jakub Kiwior: Amid links to Riccardo Calafiori, reports in Italy have claimed that Arsenal's interest comes as a result of uncertainty regarding the future of Jakub Kiwior. The Pole played a key, yet primarily back-seat role in Arsenal's title bid last term, and Calafiori's versatility could pose a threat to his development should he arrive.

The wording of the report also appears to indicate Kiwior could leave regardless of any move for the Bologna defender, which could mean 18 months at the club could be about to end rather abruptly.

Thomas Partey: Gunners midfielder Partey has reportedly expressed his desire to move on this summer, amid links with a move to the Saudi Pro League. He was thought to have been of interest last year to Saudi Arabia's richest clubs, but his own hopes to leave the club could now make a move a reality.

Emile Smith Rowe & Reiss Nelson: Reports in the last week claimed that Edu was exploring a double Arsenal exit in order to fund a move for Eberechi Eze. Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson are those potentially on the chopping block, with the Gunners apparently needing around £60m to prise the England midfielder from Selhurst Park. Interestingly, both players are valued at £30m each by Arsenal.

Arsenal did not secure any deals prior to Euro 2024, with supposed primary targets such as Benjamin Sesko signing a new contract prior to the tournament. Therefore, there has only been activity on the outgoing front, with first-teamers Cedric and Mohamed Elneny seeing their contracts come to an end, while Arthur Okonkwo has returned to Wrexham permanently after a successful loan spell.
