The Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba North Local Government Area, Barrister Casmir Nwafor, has described the emergence of Governor Chukwuma Soludo as the Vice-Chairman of Southern Governors’ Forum as a confirmation of his outstanding leadership qualities, numerous achievements and prudent management of the state’s resources.
Speaking to newsmen at Oko, Orumba North Council Area, on Governor Soludo’s recent feats, Barrister Nwafor noted that the milestones achieved by the Governor in his national and international assignments formed the basis of his success story in governance.
The Orumba North Council boss, who expressed satisfaction that Anambra State emerged number one in the State’s Fiscal Transparency Ranking, out of the thirty-six states of the federation, according to the State Fiscal Transparency League Table Quarter One of 2024, attributed the accomplishment to Governor Soludo’s deep knowledge of financial management and right application of resources to various development goals of the state.
He paid glowing tributes to the Governor for showcasing Anambra State and the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, to national level, adding that both his emergence as the Vice-Chairman, Southern Governors’ Forum, and achievements in Fiscal Financial Transparency are clear indications of the Governors’ efforts in moving the state to greater heights.
Barrister Nwafor enjoined Ndi Anambra to reciprocate the giant strides recorded by Governor Soludo in the state, stressing that his achievements have distinguished the state among her counterparts in the country.
Also speaking, some prominent citizens of Orumba North such as the National Vice President of Oko Peoples Union, Chief Sunday Nwafor, former member of Anambra State House of Assembly, Barrister Uchenna Okonkwo-Okom, as well as former TC Chairman of Orumba North, Chief Vin Okolo, while thanking Governor Soludo for appointing their illustrious son, Barrister Nwafor, as the TC Chairman of Orumba North, assured him of the maximum support of Ndi Orumba North.
