Three people have been arrested in connection with the death of a missing Georgia woman whose remains were found in Chattanooga in January, according to police.

Allen Kerr, Sean Deshazer and Jasmine Craig were charged last week in connection with the death of Maury-Ange Faith Martinez, 20, Cobb County police spokesperson Eric Smith said in an email.

All three face charges of concealing a death, which is a felony in Georgia.

Martinez was reported missing from Gwinnett County in August, according to officials, who said she'd last been seen in unincorporated Cobb County.

Her skeletal remains were found near Chattanooga's Volkswagen plant in January, and were identified as hers in June after an autopsy by the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's office.

Kerr, 32, and Deshazer, 27, were already in jail in Cobb County when they were charged with concealing Martinez's death, jail records show. They were both previously charged with drug possession and sale, according to jail records.

Craig was arrested in Kansas, according to news reports.

Cobb County police asked the public in June to report anything they knew about Martinez going missing or about her death.

The autopsy could not determine the cause or manner of her death, according to the report.

There was no evidence of blunt or sharp force trauma, or of gunshot wounds, the report said. The remains were mostly bone with a small amount of skin, the examiner wrote.

Chattanooga police said in June they were conducting a death investigation in Martinez's case. On Monday, a spokesperson referred questions about the investigation to Cobb County authorities.
