WASHINGTON, DC: The Democratic Party is experiencing the consequences of its actions by preventing Rep Byron Donalds from challenging President Joe Biden in the primary elections.

"The DNC [Democratic National Committee] and the Joe Biden campaign worked hand-in-glove to keep Democrats from challenging him," Donalds said before lashing out at the party.

Biden encountered challenges earlier in the election cycle from Representative Dean Phillips, D-Minn, and Robert F Kennedy Jr. However, the party dismissed both contenders, as Donalds recalled.

"My colleague Dean Phillips challenged him; the DNC basically said he was persona non grata," Donalds told Newsmax. "RFK tried to challenge him. They kicked him out, made him an independent."

The party must now acknowledge that following Biden's performance in the recent debate with former President Donald Trump, he "can't do the job," he added.

"We all knew he couldn't do the job, but now they have to admit it because the entire world sees this," Donalds said.

The campaign funds raised are designated for the reelection efforts of President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, and therefore cannot be allocated to any other candidates, according to Donalds.

"You would have to refund all the money, then re-raise the money after their convention in August," he said. "It's a real mess, but it serves them right. This is what happens when you don't let the democratic process work in terms of letting candidates run."

He continued, "This is what happens when you shield somebody who's terrible at the job and you already know doesn't have the capabilities of performing the roles of that job."

Current polls indicate that former First Lady Michelle Obama leads over Trump as a potential successor. However, Donalds stated that regardless of who might replace Biden, the Democratic Party's agenda remains unsatisfactory.

"Kamala Harris and the rest might be able to explain it better," he said. "It's still damaging to the American people. Our streets will still be flooded with illegal immigrants. Inflation would still be through the roof," he said. 

He also added that many people "still have a fond memory of the Obama last name," which is the only reason Michelle Obama is polling well.

The Democratic Party is also "stuck" with Harris since, as Donalds reminded us, they "had to have a Black woman," even though they knew Harris was unfit for the position.

The Black congressman claimed that his remarks were not intended to belittle Black women, but rather that the "decision matrix" required selecting a running mate based only on a candidate's race rather than their qualifications.

In addition to her tenure as the state's attorney general, Harris represented California as a US senator from 2017 to 2021. 

"Now they find themselves with either a man who simply cannot do the job and a vice president in Kamala Harris who has never demonstrated any capabilities to do this job," Donalds said.

"They have a serious problem on their hands. But, like I said, that's their own fault," he concluded.

Byron Donalds' statement on social media went viral, leading to reactions from users who criticized the Democrats.

A user wrote, "Yep, theres nothing Democratic about the Democrats. They dont primary and even if they do they have "super" delagates at the convention that in the end decide who the real canidate regardless if the people vote for them or not"

Another user added, "I think we should push the point that WHOEVER they replace #Biden with isn't going to run the country ANY different than he has!"

The third commentator wrote, "We all know Biden couldn’t manage a McDonalds but yet we’re expected to believe he can run the country. 25th Amendment now."

"Poor Poor Dems! Karma is coming," One wrote after the news surfaced on Facebook.

A person said, "They get what they deserve."
