The NYPD have released new surveillance images of the murders who stabbed a man to death in Washington Heights last week, authorities said.

The NYPD has released surveillance images of the two killers who allegedly stabbed a man to death in Washington Heights last week, authorities said.

The photos of the suspects were released five days after 20-year-old Mateo Solis was fatally stabbed while he was having a night on the town on Tuesday, July 2, at the Taco Inn restaurant, located at 1495 Saint Nicholas Ave. He was killed during the early hours of the morning after he got into an argument with two men inside the establishment that went outside.

While the reason for the dispute remains unclear, cops say Solis left the restaurant but was followed by the assailants, who stabbed him in the back on Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 185 Street at 2:57 a.m.; he was just blocks from his home.

While the killers were last seen hightailing it on Saint Nicholas Avenue, EMS rushed Solis to Harlem Hospital. Initially, the victim appeared to be in stable condition before he took a turn for the worse and succumbed to his injuries.

On Sunday morning, police released new images of the alleged murders.

The first man is described as being about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black sweatpants. The second man is also said to be about approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, gray T-shirt, and gray pants.
