Spain national team and RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo was asked to compare football stars head-to-head in a lightning round press conference game ahead of Sunday’s EURO 2024 Final vs. France.

It is a silly game but let’s play along.

In the game, every time an incumbent is unseated, they become the new player to be compared with a different set of stars. Bayer Leverkusen’s Granit Xhaka has a long run in the beginning — knocking out Lorenzo Pellegrini (AS Roma), Christian Eriksen (Manchester United), Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea FC, technically), Hakan Çalhanoğlu (Inter Milan), before finally losing out to Bayern Munich and Germany star Jamal Musiala.

Olmo then favors Musiala over quite the list: Memphis Depay (most recently Atlético Madrid), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid)...before finally giving way to Croatia star, Real Madrid galáctico, and Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modrić.

Olmo was then asked to pit Modrić against himself...and the Spaniard answered with a laugh, “Luka. Or me. Both!”
