Anambra State College Of Health Technology Obosi Inducts Graduands Of Health Community Practice

Graduands of Health Community practice at the Anambra State College of Health Technology Obosi, have been charged to be Focused in life as they move into the larger society.

The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer Community Health Practitioners and Registration Board of Nigeria, Dr Bashir Idris, gave the charge during the Induction and Oath taking of the graduands in Obosi.

Report says that the induction ceremony attracted the academia, the Registrar of Community Health Practitioners, Registration Board of Nigeria, the Boards of Commission, the College Provost and Registrar, Parents of guardians, Students, Friends of the College among others.

Speaking during the event, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria, Dr Bashir Idris, congratulated the College for churning out well trained and disciplined Community Health Practitioners.

Dr Idris, who was represented by the South-East Zonal Director of the board, Dr Charles Nelson, disclosed that one of the functions of the Board is to improve the standards of Community health care in Nigeria through regulations.

Presenting his address of welcome, the Provost of the College, Mr. Daniel Ezeobi who expressed satisfaction for excellent results of the graduands extolled the teachers for their untiring efforts.

He extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his developmental strides in the State Institutions, especially that of college of health Technology Obosi, where he has reconstructed all the dilapidated structures in the school.

Speaking to the ABS, the Acting Registrar of the College, Mrs. Esther Anaetoh, urged the inductees to always follow the ethics of the profession in order to excel in life.

Presenting a paper titled “Embracing Excellence: A New Journey begins”, the National Secretary of the Association of Primary Health Care Tutors welfare of Nigeria, Sir Henry Amaku, called on the inductees to always take pride in who they are.

Two of the inductees, Mr. Kenneth Obi and Miss Chidera Okafor thanked God for making it possible for them to graduate and the Management for their good training and promised to make the College proud.
