Euro 2024 continues to make heads turn. After some enthralling games in the group stages and the Round of 16, the tournament has now moved onto the quarterfinals. The quarterfinals kickoff on Friday (July 5) with heavyweight teams such as hosts Germany, England, Portugal, France and Spain still in the race for glory whereas the likes of Switzerland, Turkey and Netherlands cannot be ruled out. 

The first quarterfinal can be termed as the match of the tournament with Spain taking on hosts Germany on Friday evening. The next quarterfinal is between two heavyweights as well, with Portugal locking horns with France. All eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe as the two are yet to take the tournament by a storm.

The third quarterfinal match will be between Harry Kane-starrer England and giant-killers Switzerland, who defeated defending champions Italy earlier in the mega event. The last quarters match will be held between Netherlands and Turkey, who ended a strong Austria's run in the last 16.

4. Netherlands vs Turkey - Sunday, July 7 - Olympiastadion, Berlin (12:30 AM IST)

It is to be noted that the winner of the first quarterfinal will take on the winner of the second in the semifinals. Similarly, the winner of England-Swiss game will take on the winner of Netherlands-Turkey encounter in the semis.
