Singer Defends Young Boy in Viral Video
Nigerians have resurfaced a video showing music superstar Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, rebuking one of his security guards during his wedding day.
In the video, a young boy approached Davido to pick up money from the floor while he was dancing with his wife, Chioma. When the security guard tried to stop the boy, it angered Davido. The singer quickly brushed the guard aside, scolding him and telling him to leave the boy alone. The guard maintained his composure and continued to bow respectfully to Davido.
Chioma was seen standing by her husband’s side during the incident, while Ebuka Obi-Uchendu carried on with his duties as the MC.
The video has sparked reactions on social media. Some users claimed that Davido’s hand gesture was a slap to the guard’s face, leading to criticism of the singer.
