Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 13 Ukpo, Anambra State, AIG Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor, has decorated three newly promoted senior police officers with their new ranks in the zone.

The newly promoted and decorated senior police officers include ACP Rabiu Garba, ACP Ngozi Nwokama, and ACP Lucky Seibai.

They were all decorated from the ranks of Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) to ACP, respectively.

Speaking shortly after the decoration exercise held at the Zonal Headquarters Ukpo on Wednesday, AIG Aghaulor charged the newly decorated officers to exhibit higher levels of responsibility in the discharge of their duties following their new ranks.

According to the AIG, “You also have to exhibit higher levels of wisdom in your actions and decisions as you lead other personnel under you.”

He noted that their elevation to the new ranks means they have been elevated to higher responsibilities, adding, “Hence, you must exhibit higher wisdom in discharging your duties daily.”

He said, “I congratulate the senior officers on their promotions and the hard work they must have put in all these years.

“As a Zone, we appreciate the acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, for recommending them for the promotion and decoration.”

One of the newly decorated officers, ACP Ngozi Nwokama, said they would redouble their efforts and remain committed to their duties.

ACP Nwokama, who spoke on behalf of the other decorated officers, thanked God, the IGP, the PSC, the AIG, and the Zone for making the decoration possible.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that the three officers, ACP Ngozi Nwokama, currently serves in Zone 13 Ukpo as the officer in charge of D2 (Anti-Child Trafficking Section), ACP Rabiu Garba is in charge of the Central Police Station Onitsha, and ACP Lucky Seibai is the current 2/1c Area Command Onitsha.
