13 police officers arrested in Port Harcourt over indecent dressing
The Rivers State Police Command has said 13 of its officers have been arrested for indecent dressing in different parts of Port Harcourt.
This is as the command assures that the killers of the former Divisional Police Officer of Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state, SP Bako Angbashin, would be apprehended and made to face the law.
The State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, disclosed this during a live programme organised by the Force Public Relations Department transmitted on a radio station in PortHarcourt on Saturday and monitored by our correspondent.
Disu said the policemen were arrested during a patrol by the command monitoring unit in various parts of Port Harcourt and were now in detention.
According to him, “During a routine patrol in different parts of the city, we arrested about 13 officers who were indecently dressed.
“This is part of an ongoing effort to stop indecent dressing by officers of the command.
