Manchester United Renew Bid for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen

The Red Devils had initially shown interest in the Nigerian forward but were deterred by Napoli’s steep asking price of €100 million.

Osimhen, who has expressed a desire to leave the Diego Maradona Stadium, has seen his price tag drop to €80 million, rekindling United’s hopes.

The 25-year-old has been linked with several top clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to reports from CalcioNapoli24 and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United have proposed a deal involving cash plus striker Rasmus Hojlund to entice Napoli.

Hojlund, who joined United last season and has Serie A experience with Atalanta, could be a valuable addition for the Italian side.

However, Napoli’s new manager Antonio Conte reportedly remains focused on signing Romelu Lukaku, casting doubt on whether they will accept United’s offer.

The coming weeks will be crucial as the transfer window progresses and both clubs navigate their options.
