Council chair lauds Kefas on palliative distribution to Taraba households
The executive chairman of Sardauna LGA of Taraba state, Alhaji Muhammed J. Umar, Wednesday lauded Governor Kefas Agbu for distributing palliative to over 10,000 households in Mambilla Plateau, the headquarter of Sardauna local government area of the state.
Umar who stated this while briefing journalists in Jalingo said Governor Kefas since assumption of office a year ago has displayed honesty and ethics in all aspects of governance in the state.
He added that the governor has been treating Tarabans with respect, kindness, generosity and also striving to make the state a better place for all.
“Let me tell you, it was a massive jubilation immediately my people got the news of the palliative released to us by the governor.
“This God- sent servant of God, Dr Kefas has established good governance by providing a true dividend of democracy to the people of state.
He noted that the ongoing infrastructure projects are key to developing a local government like Sardauna local government.
“We are indeed pleased to have a leader like Governor Kefas who has genuinely come to rescue our dear state and the people.
In the past, in Mambilla Plateau, we were going through challenges of insecurity, communal crisis among others. But today, since assumption, peace, unity, and stability is brought to our dear local government,” he stated.
He added that Tarabans under Kefas now enjoy free education, power supply, road construction and prompt payment of workers’ salary.
This progressive stride of Governor Kefas, he said, shows that the state is speedilly developing.
The council boss also commended the governor for restoring electricity to Sardauna LGA of the state and lamented that the local government has been without power supply for years.
