MOSCOW, July 5 (Reuters) - Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said it had prevented an attack on a defense facility in the Samara region in southwest Russia, the RIA state news agency reported on Friday.

RIA cited the FSB as saying that a resident of Samara had prepared an attack on a "facility of the military-industrial complex" at the behest of a pro-Ukraine organization.

"In order to carry out the criminal plan, the suspect selected crime scenes, inspected them, and assembled homemade incendiary devices," RIA cited the FSB as saying.
