The first edition of the South East/South South Volleyball Championship has come to a thrilling conclusion at the Umuahia Township Stadium indoor hall.

Abia State’s male volleyball team clinched the top spot, defeating Imo State 3-1 in the final match. The victorious team took home the coveted trophy and a cash prize of N1,000,000.

Imo State secured second place, receiving N800,000, while Anambra State finished third.

In the female category, Anambra State emerged champion, defeating Bayelsa State to claim the trophy and N1,000,000. Bayelsa State came second, receiving N800,000, and Rivers State finished third.

This championship showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship from teams across the region.
