He acted like he was at home.

A commuter was horrified to see a man cut his finger nails with a nail clipper on the MRT, leaving "chunks" on the train floor.

Stomper Michelle shared photos of the incident, which took place when the train was at Redhill station on the morning of June 29

"It was a full train where all seats were occupied in the cabin," recounted the Stomper.

"As everyone in our cabin looked on in horror, he kept cutting his nails loudly and letting the dirty nail pieces fall in chunks onto the floor. The nail pieces were large and there were so many nail flakes."

But that was not the end of it.

"Then, to the terror of the people sitting beside him, he simply dusted the flakes off himself onto his fellow passengers and the train seat," said the Stomper.

"After 10 minutes, he was finally done – but switched to a different seat so he wouldn't have to sit in his own nail droppings."

The Stomper added the man did not seem to care about his surroundings.

"Everyone was afraid to say anything to him because he gave off a crazy vibe as if he has cut his nails on the train a million times before."

The Stomper said she was sharing what happened to discourage such bad behaviour in public spaces.

In May, another Stomper shared photos of a man biting his toe nails on the train.
