Gladiator 2 First Look: 'Gladiator' is one of the most popular historical action movies of all time and has developed cult classic status over the years. The movie is all set to return with its sequel titled 'Gladiator II' and the makers have finally unveiled its first look. It stars Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal in the lead roles. The first look of 'Gladiator 2' has been receiving a good response from the fans and created excitement among the audience.

The movie also stars Denzel Washington, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, May Calamawy, Connie Nielsen, and Derek Jacobi. The movie will focus on Lucius, the nephew of Commodus who is now a grown man. Paul Mescal will be seen in the lead role and Joseph Quinn will reportedly play the role of Emperor Caracalla.
Its first instalment starred Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Ralf Möller, Oliver Reed, Djimon Hounsou, Derek Jacobi, John Shrapnel, Richard Harris, and Tommy Flanagan. In the film, Russel Croew plays the role of Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius, who is betrayed when Commodus, the son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, murders his father and seizes the throne.
'Gladiator 2' will hit the theatres on November 22, 2024, and will have to clash with 'Wicked' at the box office. Even though the release date of 'Wicked' has been moved up to five days earlier, fans are eagerly waiting for another epic clash after 'Barbenheimer'.
'Wicked' is the film adaptation of the stage musical of the same name by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman. The movie revolves around Elphaba Thropp, a green-skinned woman, who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West and forms a friendship and rivalry with Galinda Upland. For the unversed, the stage musical 'Wicked' is also based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Gregory Maguire.
The movie stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the lead roles and will release on November 15, 2024.
