Trail Closure for Stabilization Work

JACKSON, Wyo. — Josie’s Ridge Trail, a frequented hiking spot in the region, will undergo a temporary closure to the public for a few hours on Friday, June 21, as trail stabilization operations take place, as per Friends of Pathways. The closure is scheduled from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., detailed in an Instagram update by Friends of Pathways. A helicopter will transport large rocks to various points along the trail to aid in trail stabilization specifically on the route’s switchbacks.

“During this period, we kindly ask hikers to refrain from using the Josie’s Ridge Trail and to adhere to any posted signage or directions provided by crew members in the vicinity,” the update advised.
